Shipping Policy Basics

At BioLabDirect, we aim to process and deliver research products as efficiently and securely as possible. This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed through www.biolabdirect.com are processed, shipped, and handled.

1. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed within 1-5 business days.
  • Orders placed after business cutoff hours may begin processing on the next business day.
  • Orders are not shipped on weekends or major holidays unless otherwise stated.

If there is a significant issue or delay affecting your order, BioLabDirect may contact you using the information provided at checkout.

2. Shipping Methods and Estimated Delivery Times

BioLabDirect works to provide reliable shipping options based on destination and order requirements.

Estimated delivery times may vary depending on:

  • shipping destination
  • selected shipping method
  • carrier processing times
  • weather, customs, or operational delays

Any delivery timeframe shown on the website or at checkout is an estimate only and is not guaranteed.

3. Shipping Confirmation and Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you may receive a shipping confirmation email containing:

  • shipment confirmation
  • tracking number, if available
  • carrier details
  • estimated delivery information, when provided by the carrier

Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours or longer to appear after the shipment has been created.

4. Shipping Restrictions

BioLabDirect may limit or restrict shipping to certain destinations where products cannot legally or practically be delivered.

We may decline or cancel orders involving:

  • restricted jurisdictions
  • incomplete or unverifiable shipping information
  • addresses that cannot be serviced by the carrier
  • destinations that create compliance, customs, or delivery concerns

If a shipping restriction affects your order, we may contact you or cancel the order at our discretion.

5. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

BioLabDirect is not responsible for:

  • packages marked as delivered but not received
  • stolen packages after delivery
  • delivery delays caused by the carrier
  • losses resulting from incorrect address information submitted by the customer

If your order arrives damaged or the wrong item is received, contact BioLabDirect within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

  • your order number
  • clear photos of the package and item
  • a brief description of the issue

After review, we may determine whether a replacement or store credit is appropriate.

6. Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for entering complete and accurate shipping information at checkout.

BioLabDirect is not responsible for delays, failed delivery attempts, or losses caused by:

  • incorrect addresses
  • incomplete address details
  • wrong recipient information
  • outdated shipping information

Once an order has been processed or shipped, we may not be able to modify the destination address.

7. Temperature-Sensitive and Handling-Sensitive Products

Some products may require careful storage or handling during and after delivery.

BioLabDirect takes reasonable steps to package products appropriately for shipment, but we cannot guarantee environmental conditions or handling once a shipment is in the custody of the carrier.

Customers are responsible for promptly receiving, inspecting, and storing products according to any applicable handling requirements.

8. Shipping Delays

Orders may be delayed for reasons including:

  • high order volume
  • payment verification review
  • carrier service interruptions
  • weather conditions
  • customs review
  • operational or supply chain disruptions

BioLabDirect is not liable for carrier or transit delays outside our control, though we may provide updates where possible.

9. International Orders

If BioLabDirect accepts international orders, the customer is solely responsible for:

  • understanding local import restrictions
  • paying customs duties, taxes, or fees
  • ensuring that products may legally enter the destination country

BioLabDirect is not responsible for customs seizures, import refusals, or delays caused by international clearance procedures.
