At BioLabDirect, we work to provide carefully handled, research-grade products backed by quality standards and dependable fulfillment. Because of the sensitive nature of laboratory materials, our refund and return policy is limited and applies only in specific situations outlined below.

1. All Sales Are Generally Final

Due to the nature of the products sold on biolabdirect.com, most purchases are considered final.

We do not offer refunds or returns for reasons including:

  • change of mind
  • customer ordering error
  • incorrect product selection by the customer
  • misunderstanding of product purpose
  • dissatisfaction based on expected research outcomes
  • products that have been opened, used, mishandled, or improperly stored after delivery

This policy helps protect product integrity, safety, and quality control standards.

2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, you may be eligible for a replacement or store credit at our discretion.

To request review of an issue, you must:

  • contact BioLabDirect within 48 hours of confirmed delivery
  • provide your order number
  • provide clear photos of the outer packaging, shipping label, and affected item
  • describe the issue in sufficient detail for review

After review, BioLabDirect may, at its sole discretion, offer:

  • a replacement shipment, or
  • store credit, where appropriate

Refunds or replacements are only considered for verified shipping damage, verified defects, or confirmed fulfillment errors.

3. Lost, Stolen, or Carrier-Related Delivery Issues

BioLabDirect is not responsible for packages that are:

  • marked as delivered but not received
  • lost or stolen after delivery
  • delayed by the carrier
  • affected by incorrect shipping information provided by the customer

If a delivery issue occurs, we recommend contacting the shipping carrier directly first. BioLabDirect may assist where possible, but carrier outcomes are outside our control.

4. Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled before they have been processed or shipped.

Once an order has entered processing, been packed, or been dispatched, it may no longer be canceled, changed, or refunded.

If you need to request a cancellation, contact BioLabDirect as quickly as possible.

5. Unauthorized Returns

Do not send any product back without prior written authorization from BioLabDirect.

Unauthorized returns may be refused, discarded, or otherwise not processed, and no refund, replacement, or store credit will be issued for returns sent without approval.

6. Return Eligibility Conditions

If BioLabDirect authorizes a return in a limited exception case, the product must:

  • remain unopened and unused unless the issue relates to shipping damage or fulfillment error
  • be returned in the condition specified by BioLabDirect
  • include any requested order information or authorization details

Approval to return a product does not guarantee a refund. Each case is reviewed individually.

7. Research Use Only Notice

All products sold by BioLabDirect are intended strictly for laboratory and research use only. They are not for human or animal consumption and not for medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic use.

Refund or return requests based on misuse, misunderstanding, or use outside the stated research-only purpose will not be approved.
